Fine chemical industry,an indispensable part of chemical industry,serves as a pillar of national economy with its many branch industries.With great varieties of products,wide application,close connection with other industries and contribution to new materials and high-tech products,fine chemical industry has become one of the most promising field of world chemical industry.At present,many countries place great emphasis on fine chemical industry in order to adjust chemical industry structure,upgrade chemical industry level and enhance international competitiveness.Meanwhile,with the more intense market competition,companies began to pay increasingly more attention to strategy management to understand competition environment and seize future opportunities.By studying the interior and exterior environment,determining the goals and strategies,and then carrying out the plan with careful control of process and detailed evaluation of outcome,companies gradually shape their future through the choice of strategy.This article reviewed strategic theories and introduced analysis methods of strategy,such as PEST and Five Forces Model etc.Integrating theory with practice,the article then analyzed the development strategy of BCC with case study method.Specifically,the article focused on following aspects:?analyzing the exterior environment of BCC with PEST model,and analyzing the environment of its main business with Five Forces Model;?analyzing the management,finance and major business competitiveness of BCC in the last 3 years from the aspect of interior environment;?concluding the strategy of BCC based on preceding discussion,and further pointing out the system basis for the strategies.Put together,this article provided helpful guidance on the strategy choice of chemical industry companies.
