The Empirical Analysis Of The Impact Of International Trade And FDI On Technological Progress&in The Instance Of Yiwu City

The impact of import and export trade and foreign direct investment to a city's economic development can be reflected in many aspects.How to influence,what problem still need specific content specific analysis.In this paper,the relevant theories of import and export trade and foreign direct investment are studied and analyzed.On this basis,the domestic and foreign experts in the industry have a summary of the research conclusions on foreign trade,FDI and social economic technology progress,and the total factor productivity(TFP)is used as a measure of the economic development technology in Yiwu of Zhejiang province.The index of step level is used to calculate and analyze the total factor productivity by data envelopment analysis(DEA).It is proved that in the economic environment of Yiwu,the total factor productivity can represent the technological progress of Yiwu.The total amount of import trade,total export trade,and the actual use of foreign direct investment are introduced,and the VAR model is used to make an empirical analysis on the overall dynamic effect of the above three factors on the total factor productivity.The empirical results show that the impact of FDI on the development of Yiwu's technological progress is positive,and the impact of export trade on technological progress is positive,but the impact of import trade is negative.
