Although the quantity effect is obvious under the preferential policy, the photovoltaic companies began to enter the international market, but the domestic photovoltaic industry relies heavily on other countries in raw materials and needs to imitate others' technology. The problem of insufficient domestic demand is the typical characteristics of processing trade.Production efficiency is an important determinant of unit cost and competitiveness of renewable energy equipment. Therefore, this paper studies the production efficiency of China's photovoltaic industry and its influencing factors. This article has completed on detailed analysis of the supply and demand situations in the domestic photovoltaic industry. The primary production factors in our country have advantages, such as manpower, light resources. The advanced production elements such as technology are relatively backward and in the stage of progress.I analyzes the five major production process(polysilicon, wafers, cells, and photovoltaic modules, photovoltaic power generation system)about the production, the production process, technology.Based on the understanding of the current situation of photovoltaic industry in China, the internal and external development environment and upgrading power mechanism of photovoltaic industry are analyzed from the perspective of global value chain. This paper also estimates the degree of participation of different industrial sectors, and finds that China's participation in high value-added industries is low.On the basis of previous studies, the paper puts forward the influencing factors of PV enterprises' production efficiency. The data envelopment analysis(DEA)model was used to measure the efficiency and decomposition efficiency. The calculation results show that the efficiency of the downstream PV industry is the lowest, and the scale efficiency is invalid, which may be the factor that restricts the efficiency of the downstream industry. In this paper, the Tobit regression model of maximum likelihood method is constructed, which takes the production efficiency index as an explanatory variable. In order to focus on the impact of export trade on the efficiency of photovoltaic industry, the export trade volume and net export profit are used as an explanatory variable to measure export trade. The choice of dependent variables is related to production efficiency and decomposition efficiency.Productivity, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are explanatory variables respectively.Through multi model regression test,it is found that the export degree, profitability, government subsidy and enterprise nature of photovoltaic enterprises have significant influence on production efficiency. The promotion of export comes from pure technical efficiency, and the inhibition effect of the nature of state-owned enterprises on production efficiency comes from the inhibition of the scale efficiency level.Financial subsidies to photovoltaic enterprises can improve the efficiency of pure technology and scale efficiency. Finally, the paper puts forward corresponding suggestions.
