In recent years,with the scale of enrollment in universities in China has been expanding year by year,the number of infrastructure projects,renovation projects,and teaching facilities in campus has increased.It is difficult for the audit department to carry out meticulous audits to each project because the audit content is cumbersome,and the workload is too heavy to finish.In addition,the staff of the audit team in the school is insufficient,and the quality of personnel and the level of business are not satisfactory.The audit efficiency is often challenged by other departments and construction units in the university.This paper combines the content,characteristics and existing problems of current internal engineering audit in universities,with the goal of improving the level of project auditing,to introduce the advanced BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology of the construction industry.In recent years,BIM has made great progress based on its visualization,parameterization,digitization and other advantages,from concept to real practice,and has been promoted in the construction industry.A large part of the cost personnel is liberated from tedious and complicated calculation work,and at the same time,their energy can be better invested in investment decisions,project evaluation analysis and other work.This paper analyzes the current situation and problems of internal auditing in universities,and expounds the application of BIM technology in auditing at various stages of engineering construction.Combining the advantages of BIM with internal engineering auditing in universities,this article discusses in depth the specific application methods and advantages of BIM in decision-making phase,design phase,tendering phase,construction phase,completion phase,and operation and maintenance phase of university engineering audit.Finally,the audit of a university restaurant renovation project and the new teaching building project were used as examples to apply BIM related tools to various stages.In the decision-making stage,BIMis used for comparison and evaluation of alternatives and an optimal solution is selected.In the design phase,the design inadequacies are pointed out through BIM visualization,and under the premise of guaranteeing the use of functions,adjustments are made to reduce the design budget.In the tendering and bidding phase,the integrity and accuracy of the bill of quantities are audited using the BIM parameterization feature.In the construction phase,the BIM's parameterization and computability are used to audit the technical alteration project volume and visa.In the completion phase,BIM was used as a completion model for settlement audits.Through the application of various stages,the BIM technology will be used to test the effectiveness and accuracy of internal engineering audits in universities,as well as the advantages of adapting to the process of follow-up auditing and the development of auditing informationization,in order to improve the efficiency of university engineering audits and improve the investment management level.
