Analysis Of Tourism Economic Performance In Jiaozuo City

Since 1999,Jiaozuo City has vigorously developed the tourism industry and achieved a successful transformation from “coal city” to “outstanding tourist city in China” and from “black impression” to “green theme”.It can be said that tourism has become a pillar industry in Jiaozuo City’s economy,and Jiaozuo has become a model for tourism development to promote the transition of resource-exhausted cities.As a model for the successful transition of resource-exhausted cities,a reasonable and effective assessment of the tourism deve lopment status and economic performance of Jiaozuo City can help clarify the role of tourism in promoting the urban transformation of Jiaozuo City,and based on the degree of influence of each indicator on economic performance,provides suggestions for the government to promote the continuous growth of tourism in Jiaozuo City and thus promote regional economic growth.Based on a comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign tourism economic performance and economic performance evaluation index system,this article applies the tourism life cycle theory,non-equilibrium theory,etc.,and follows the principle of establishing a tourism performance evaluation index system,first through literature analysis.According to the law,various indicators of tourism economic performance evaluation are selected,and through the interview method,the indicators of various levels selected by the tourism economic performance evaluation index system are revised.Based on the connotation of performance and the results of literature analysis and interviews,this paper selects four dimensions of tourism economic scale,economic benefits from tourism,social support factors of tourism,and tourism input and output from the perspective of tourism performance and efficiency.The indicators constitute a complete set of Jiaozuo City tourism economic performance evaluation index system.O n this basis,the weight of each indicator is determined by the method of objective weighting-entropy method and the tourism economic performance of Jiaozuo City during 2008-2016 is estimated during.According to the results of the entropy method,the following conclusions are drawn: From the perspective of index differences,the imbalance between the 20 tertiary indicators is significantly different,indicating that the degree of influence of each index on the economic performance of tourism in Jiaozuo City is different;Judging from the overall economic performance,the tourism economic performance of Jiaozuo City has been on an upward trend from 2008 to 2016,and the tourism economy performance has been slowly and continuously growing from 2008 to 2012.The tourism economic performance of the tourism industry has stagnated during the period from 2012 to 2014,Tourism economic performance in 2014-2016 is in a period of rapid growth;from the perspective of the Jiaozuo City tourism performance index system,the performance of tourism scale index system and tourism input-output index system in 2008-2016 is roughly the same as that of economic performance.The tourism economic benefits index system of the industry has been on an upward trend from 2008 to 2016.Its trend is different from the trend of economic performance.The social support factor indicator system of tourism industry has different trends in performance from 2008-2016,and in 2009 and 2016,show significant increases in their values,indicating that the index subsystems have irregular fluctuations in the overall performance of the tourism industry.In view of the changes in the economic performance of Jiaozuo’s tourism industry,this paper proposes that the tourism industry in Jiaozuo can be further transformed in the following four aspects: In terms of the economic scale of tourism,it is necessary to optimize the tourism industry structure of the transformed cities and reasonably regulate the scale of tourism;In terms of economic benefits of the industry,it is necessary to enhance the attractiveness of tourism in urban transition,to give full play to the advantages of tourism resources in the promotion of city economic development in the tourism industry,and to maintain the sustainable growth of the benefits of tourism;at the level of the social support factors of tourism,it is necessary to pay attention to the professional talents in transition cities;in terms of input and output of tourism,it is necessary to strengthen government regulation of urban transition and improve the input and output efficiency of tourism to improve Jiaozuo’s tourism economic performance.At the end of the article,this article only selects indicators in the tourism economic performance evaluation index system from a macro perspective.In further studies,when selecting indicators,they can supplement micro-level content,and at the same time can strengthen horizontal comparison in the research direction.
