Organizational change is to use the behavioral science and related management methods to adjust and innovate the organization scale of organization itself,power structure,character set,communication and other inner relationship between the organization and members'behavior and attitudes as well as the ideas,spirit of cooperation between members of the organization systematically and purposefully.To adapt to changes of the internal and external environment,organizing tasks,and the organization,to improve the organizational effectiveness.With the advent of economic globalization period,to adapt to the fierce market competition,as well as making itself can adapt and develop quickly,many organizations or enterprises turn to implement merger,reorganization and recombination frequently.Under the huge impact of the global economic recession,manufacturing industry will face an enormous challenge.An efficient organizational change of plan is an opportunity to blow away the cobwebs and a superior path of development;On the contrary,once the change is not completely managed or enough resultful,there will suffer a serious defeat to organization or enterprise.In this paper,Emerson enterprise is taken as an example which is going to be a merger of two business units,FISHER and ASCO,applying Organizational Change and the related theory to combine with interviews and questionnaire survey to study on the implementation of planned change,proposing strategy research based on the potential issues of organizational change.Thus,in order to make Emerson enterprise organizational change more smooth and effective.Meanwhile,the author expects this case could provide the reference for similar enterprise's change problem.
