Research On "One Belt And One Road" Initiative And "Maritime Strategic Pivot"

OBOR is the creative Initiative of Chinese Marxism.As the pace of globalization continues to increase,OBOR helps China and surrounding nations to enhance regional connectivity in term of policy,economic and culture exchange.Along with OBOR,Chinese government has another initiative:building "China-ASEAN Community of Common Destiny".These two initiatives are interconnected as they complement each other.China has always regarded ASEAN as a priority in its neighborhood diplomacy.China has always firmly support ASEAN’s integration and community-building efforts and support ASEAN centrality in regional cooperation.However,we are still facing some difficulties and obstacles as we develop China-ASEAN relationship.Therefore,study and research the strategic importance of ASEAN in building Maritime Silk Road has a significant value.Essentially,"China-ASEAN Community of Common Destiny" is not an entity,but rather an idea of develop a common concept.The process of building the "Common Destiny" is the process of enhancing regional connectivity.While building the "China-ASEAN Community of Common Destiny" OBOR emphasize its path,ASEAN will benefit significantly through the building of "Common Destiny".While "maritime strategic pivot" has common ground with OBOR,and also potential challenges.So China should enhance mutual trust with Indonesia and actively explore the cooperation path of the "maritime strategic pivot" in order to realize the china-indonesia initiative.
