At present,China is undergoing the structural transformation of economy,and economic development is slowing down.Under this situation,the commercial banks are faced with a series of challenges:the uncertain prospects of macroeconomic development,the sever obstacles for real economy and the situation that the traditional increasing model which depends on real estate and is driven by government financing to make profit is hard to continue.In addition,with the acceleration of interest rate marketization process in China and the possibility of opening up in financial industry stirred by the "trade war" between China and America,commercial banks are facing with the disadvantageous situation of increasing interest rate fluctuation,the severer competition among industry and weakening profitability.Particularly under the dual pressure of economy’s downturn and macro liquidity,the hidden credit risk caused by previous large-scale credit investment and gradual increasing profit is exposing,together with the appearance of pressure on asset quality.After analyzing the cases about credit risk asset of commercial banks,it is not difficult to find that,apart from the effect from exterior factors,the misconduct of credit risk control within bank is also the main cause of problematic loan.This article selects Bank of Communications J Branch as the research object,taking its post-loan risk management as an example,combining with a comprehensive risk management framework to study the specific aspects of its post-loan risk management,and analyzing its post-loan risk management in the internal control environment,target setting,and control.The deficiencies in activities,information,communication and monitoring,and suggestions for improvement are made in order to improve the quality of post-loan risk management of Bank of Communications J branch.In addition,although the specific practices of various commercial banks in post-loan risk management are not the same,some of the issues raised in this paper and the reasons behind them have a certain degree of universality.Therefore,this paper can further improve post-loan risk management practices for other commercial banks.The writing framework of this paper includes the following six parts:The first part is introduction:Mainly introduces the background of topic selection and research significance,the research results at home and abroad,and the method and content of the research.The second part is the practical experience and basic theory of post-loan risk management:Firstly introduces the basic theory of commercial banks’ credit risk and its management,then illustrates the general methods of post-loan risk management and the specialty of post-loan risk management for commercial banks in China,finally further explains by combining the practical experience at home and abroad.The third part describes the credit business and non-performing loans of Bank of Communications J branch,and details the main links of its post-loan risk management.The fourth part combines the comprehensive risk management framework,through a case of post-loan risk management failure and compares the specific links of post-loan risk management of Bank of Communications J Bank,and analyzes the insufficiencies,and it means that the internal control environment needs to be improved;the risk capacity of the target setting is not enough,and the control activities are flawed.Information communication is not smooth enough,and supervision and inspection are not implemented properly.The fifth section proposes improvement proposals for the post-loan risk management of Bank of Communications J branch,including the strengthening of the internal control environment,the development of reasonable assessment targets,multiple initiatives to improve control activities,strengthen internal information sharing,and expand risk management teams.The sixth part is the conclusion. |
