In 2015,the National Tourism Administration issued the “Circular on the Establishment of a National Demonstration Area for the Holistic Tourism Destination”.The holistic tourism destination is a brand-new concept of tourism.It is the new orientation of tourism development in the era of mass tourism,and it also brings new development opportunities to the tourism industry in China.Yantai City,as one of the first batch of demonstration units for the holistic tourism destination,is currently in a stage of transformation and upgrading.Therefor,it is of great research value to seize this opportunity to correctly guide and promote the transformation and upgrading of recreational fishery.The thesis integrated the concept of the holistic tourism destination into the full text and constructed a model of tourism constructed a model of tourism“attracting tourists-receiving tourists-retaining tourists-hospitality”.Based on the study of recreational fishery at home and abroad,the article analyzed the status,characteristics,problems,and causes of recreational fishery in Yantai through field research.It also classified the entry and consolidation improvement phases based on the tourism life cycle theory,and used Long Island as a case of survey of supply and demand in recreational fishery.Quantitative methods are used instead of qualitative methods in the study of developmental dynamical mechanisms.An evaluation index system is constructed based on the holistic tourism destination evaluation standard and the porter diamond model.Each power weight value is measured by the entropy method,and the relationship between the thrust and the pulling force is determined.Finally,based on the conclusions of each chapter and the concept of “panoramic,full-time,whole-industry,and all-people”,the specific path for the transformation and upgrading of recreational fishery was proposed.The full text consists of six chapters.The first chapter describes the research background,significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods,framework,etc.The second chapter explains the connotation and research theory of the holistic tourism destination and recreational fishery.The third chapter analyzes the development stage,characteristics,problems and causes of recreational fishery in Yantai through field research.It uses a questionnaire as a typical case of Long Island to survey tourists' satisfaction with their market demand and supply quality.Long Island recreational fishery attracts tourists,and the satisfaction of tourists experience is low,so that tourists have a kind of tourism experience of “going away and being disappointed”.The fourth chapter builds a dynamic evaluation index system based on the evaluation criteria of the holistic tourism destination and the porter diamond model.The entropy method is used to measure the weights to derive relevant support industries,and regional tourism competition and new opportunities are far more powerful than fishing tourism,economic level and market demand.And the motive force of recreational fishery development in Yantai City during 2010-2016 is mainly due to the external pull mechanism,fishing tourism,economic level and market demand.And the motive force of recreational fishery development in Yantai City during 2010-2016 is mainly due to the external pull mechanism.The fifth chapter puts forward the concept of development,development orientation,development goals and specific transformation strategies on the basis of the first four chapters combined with the concept of "four-all".The sixth chapter summarizes the article's innovations,main conclusions and areas for improvement.
