With China’s entry into an important period of economic transformation,innovation has become an important driving force for China’s economic development,therefore,how to promote employee innovation and improve the innovative performance of employees has attracted the attention of academia and practical circle.Performance appraisal works as an important management tool in organizations,studies have shown that it has a negative impact on employee innovative performance,however,performance appraisal is essential to guarantee the orderly conduct of the organization’s daily work,therefore,explore the mechanism of performance evaluation on employee innovative performance and study how to circumvent its negative impact on employee innovative performance is of great importance.In our study,we combine theory analysis and empirical test,analyzing the effect of performance appraisal characteristics on employee innovative performance and further introduce employee evaluation reactions as a mediator variable to study.First of all,this paper reviews the previous research in related fields,then based on social cognitive theory and social exchange theory,putting forward the hypothesis;then,the collected data is analyzed by SPSS.and then verify the relationship between the various variables,testing the hypothesis.Research results show that in addition to management oriented performance evaluation,other performance evaluation characteristics have positive effects on innovative performance.The mediating effect of employee evaluation reactionsare also examined.This study makes a useful complement to the research on innovation performance,and it can also produce some inspiration for enterprise managemen. |
