Research On Supply Chain Operation Mode Of Steel Trade Enterprise

TakingGM Company as an example,the supply chain operation mode of steel trade enterprise is researched in this thesis.GM is a large steel trading company.In recent years,Due to the overcapacity and the unitary business model,China's iron and steel market is stuck in bottleneck,which demands an outlet under the environment of China's supply-side structural reform.Therefore,GM company strives to improve and upgrade their operation model of supply chain,so as to achieve a competitive position in the downturn market,and enhance their performance.This thesis is focused on the practice of supply chain of steel trade companies,and based on the theory of supply chain management,combining the theory and practice,the international and domestic,find the deficiency and problems in the operation mode,and propose suggestions to improve the steel trading enterprise development.First,the thesis analyzes the operation mode of service supply chain in steel trading company.By detailed analysis in supply chain of the iron and steel company in Europe,America,Japan and South Korea,comparing the status of China's steel trading company,this thesis finds a new development trend in supply chain operation mode of steel trading enterprise.Then,based on this and GM Company's supply chain operation status,using the SWOT analysis to perform feasibility analysis on the selection and the implement of GM company's development strategy.By constructing the performance evaluation index system of supply chain operation of steel trade enterprises,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is used to quantitatively analyze the operation status of GM's supply chain,finding out the direction of GM's supply chain operation improvement.Based on this,this paper provides a general proposal of improving the operation mode of GM's steel trade supply chain and applies it to the supply chain operation practice of the enterprise.Through two application examples and its operation effect analysis,this paper proves that the improvement measures have guiding significance and practical value.
