Logistics industry is the fundamental,guiding and strategic industry of the national economy.The logistics industry has obtained a great momentum of development and make a significant contribution for the steady growth in rapid-moderate speed of domestic economy,under the new circumstances where the economy changing from the"industrial-based economy" to "service-based economy".Meanwhile,Provinces and cities also gradually attaches great importance to the logistics cluster areas planning and construction,and lead the agglomeration of logistics enterprises,in order to realize large-scale specialized operation and further enhance the scale benefits and external benefits of logistics industry agglomeration,finally sustain the steady and rapid growth of regional economic.Against the background that the process of logistics industry modernizing is speeding up increasingly and effects of industrial conglomeration have been increasingly emerging,logistics industry agglomeration has become a inevitable trend.Therefore,deeply discuss how to effectively realize the logistics industrial agglomeration and maximum the spillover effects,further promote coordinated development of regional economy has become the key question of logistics industry policy making.In the paper,we set out to research from the mechanism that the logistics industrial agglomeration affects economic growth,to mathematically analyze the spillover effects with provincial panel data from 2004-2015.The article firstly theoretically inquiry the connotation and formation mechanism of logistics industrial agglomeration,its interaction with regional economic growth,and discusses mainly the spatial spillover effects and its implementation that logistics industry agglomeration impacts the regional economic growth,respectively from the macro and micro dimensions.Secondly,on the basis of the statistical description of China’s logistics industry development status,the article introduced the location quotient index to analyze the agglomeration status quo,the regional disparity and the spatial correlation characteristics of China’s logistics industry.Then,the article constructs Spatial Durbin Model to empirically analyze the logistics industry agglomeration direct effects,spillover effects and total effects on economic growth,from the regional overall economic growth level and regional industry economic growth level.Finally,based on the analysis results,the article puts forward policy suggestions to promote the development of logistics industrial agglomeration.The analysis found that,the logistics industry had entered a new developing phrase with high-level stabilization and quality enhancement.The provincial logistics industry proves significant agglomeration phenomenon and provincial logistics agglomeration exists remarkable spatial correlation,but there are large differences among regions and continue to expand on the overall trend.The logistics industry agglomeration would effectively promote the regional economic growth.In the aspect of regional overall economic,the logistics industry agglomeration has not only a positive role to promote local region economic growth,but also drives the surrounding regions economic growth through the spatial spillover effects.In the aspect of regional industry economic,the logistics industry agglomeration have significant direct effects toward three industries,and although the spillover effects toward primary industry is not significant,the local regional logistics industry agglomeration will promote the second and the third industry development in surrounding regions through spillover effects and the effects toward the third industry is the maximum. |
