With the rapid development of telecommunications and Internet in China,Network power products which provide power protection and environmental protection to the communication base stations and Internet datacenters,while vigorous development is also facing serious challenges,market competition has put forward higher requirements for the efficiency of R&D and project management level of new product development in the whole industry enterprise.Emerson Network Power Co.,Ltd.is a high-tech enterprise in this transition,this paper combined with the current research and development of project management in the field of project management methodology and Research on the factors affecting the efficiency of R&D,analyzes the existing problems of R&D project management in the aspects of new product planning,organization structure,resource allocation and project monitoring in emerson's R&D department.And then carried out the R&D project management efficiency improvement program design.The program first change the new product planning process to ensure that the direction of the R&D project is correct,to organizational structure change,stimulate organizational vitality as the basis,depend on the project information to promote the improvement of project management efficiency,strict assessment and audit measures to protect the implementation of the program.In the specific implementation,first of all,from the source of product planning,customer-centric,new product planning process to improve.Then the project organization structure changes,project-based organizational structure to replace the original weak matrix organizational structure,product business unit system is implemented.In the division of the functional departments at the same time,in order to continue to maintain the advantages of the team of experts,the establishment of R&D platform technical committee,the functional members of the project team to provide unified support and guidance.At the same time on the basis of product digital model,collaborate all business process design.Finally,in the process of project implementation,through the project node three-level assessment system and project audit system strengthen the company's monitoring of all projects and project managers to effectively monitor the projects under leadership.For high-tech enterprises,the product is the lifeblood of enterprises,only to continuously optimize the enterprise's new product R&D project management,improve R&D efficiency,rapid response to rapidly changing customer needs in order to build a sustainable competitive advantage,this paper provides a useful exploration and a reference for the company of the industry.
