Residents’ Income,Health Status And Government Satisfaction

The government satisfaction is an important basis for the government performance evaluation,and it is an important embodiment of the modern government’s governing capacity.Since the central government clearly put forward "the masses’ satisfaction is the only standard to measure government”,the government satisfaction has become an important index to evaluate the performance of government,and the government satisfaction evaluation has become an important means to our citizen’s political participation,democratic supervision and achieve the fundamental interests.Therefore,enhance the government’s satisfaction has become the focus of future work of the government.In order to improve the satisfaction of the government,we must understand the influence factors of government satisfaction,there is a lot of research on government satisfaction,mainly concentrated in the citizens’ perception and expectations of the citizens of the government satisfaction,ignoring the impact of people’s individual characteristics of government satisfaction,but the formation of psychological perception of people is linked with the individual characteristics seriously,therefore,to understand the influence factors of government satisfaction,the research on individual characteristics of residents is necessary.The income and health is an important part of civic identity,and plays an important role in the daily life of citizens,directly affects the individual perception and evaluation.On the outside of the result,this paper selects the individual income and health status to study the government satisfaction,and willing to get the policy recommendations to improve the government satisfaction.The paper divided the income into two dimensions of absolute income and relative income,so that the paper can not only to study the income situation objectively,also investigate the self perception in the local income level.The study of the health status is from the perspective of self assessment of health.The government satisfaction is subdivided into eight dimensions of incorrupt government satisfaction,satisfaction with government’s work in environmental protection,satisfaction with the government’s work of narrowing the gap between rich and poor,satisfaction with government’s work of boosting employment,satisfaction with government’s work of promoting education,satisfaction with the government’s work of medical insurance,satisfaction with the government’s work of regulating the real estate market and satisfaction with the government’s work of social security.The 8dimensions observe and study the government’s work comprehensively.This paper puts forward four basic assumptions:there is a significant positive correlation between absolute income and relative government satisfaction;there is significant positive correlation between income and government satisfaction;health status has a significant positive impact on government satisfaction;health status play a regulatory role between the relationship of income and government satisfaction.The data of this paper from the 2012 "China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)".SPSS21.0 was used to empirical analysis the selected data,the results showed that: absolute income has the inverted "U" shaped relationship between government satisfaction,the absolute income is not a simple positive correlation between government satisfaction,when absolute income reaching a certain degree,the government satisfaction will have a negative impact.;there is a significant positive correlation between relative income and government satisfaction;there is a significant positive correlation between health status and government satisfaction;health status regulates the relationship between absolute income and government satisfaction;health status regulates the relationship between relative income and government satisfaction.Finally,the paper conclude the police proposals about improving the government satisfaction on the basis of the empirical analysis:The government is not only have to improve residents’ absolute income,but also narrow the gap between rich and poor;commit to improve the level of the health of the residents,insist on developing medical security system and set up a complete research system about influence factors of government satisfaction.From the residents’ income and health status to study government satisfaction is the innovation of this paper.Taking the residents’ income as a base to study government satisfaction,while adding health variables and also study the relationship between income,health status and government satisfaction.The research not only verifies the residents’ income and health status are important factors affecting the government satisfaction,also found that the regulation of health,is the effective supplement to the government’s satisfaction theory,but also provide effective suggestions for the government to improve government practical work satisfaction.
