The Theoretical And Empirical Research On The Impact Of Service Industry Agglomeration On Export Trade In Jiangsu Province

Since the 21st century,with China's participation into the World Trade Organization,foreign trade,especially export,has gained a huge development.Meanwhile,as the economy is developing rapidly today,the tertiary industry of countries and regions is increasingly becoming an important factor that supports the growth of GDP,the agglomeration effect brought by the improvement of service industry has an increasingly larger impact on the export.In recent years,Jiangsu Province is promoting the industrial structure reform,as well as trying to promote the upgrade of export trade structure through the development of service industry agglomeration zone.In this sense,this article deeply discusses the influence and mechanism of service industry agglomeration of Jiangsu Province.Firstly,the author analyzes the existing researches from three aspects----the influence factors of export,service industry agglomeration and the effect of service industry agglomeration on export.Secondly,the qualitative analysis is used to estimate the service industry agglomeration degree of Jiangsu Province by means of location entropy,spatial Gini coefficient and Herfindahl index and the characteristics of service industry agglomeration in Jiangsu Province are analyzed by data comparison method.Finally,in the empirical part,this paper uses the multiple linear regression model to test the impact of service industry agglomeration on export trade in 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province from 2006 to 2015.The analysis of measurement results shows that the agglomeration of service industry in Jiangsu Province has a more obvious effect on export trade.For every 1 percentage point increase in service industry agglomeration in Jiangsu Province,the export trade volume of Jiangsu Province can be increased by 1.88 percentage points.Based on the above empirical results,the author puts forward three effective policy supporting recommendations:First,the Jiangsu provincial government should put more on the administration of industrial policy,and build the advantages of service industry agglomeration;second,the Jiangsu provincial government should strengthen the professional talent education investment,and encourage enterprise innovation behavior;third,relevant departments can guide the export trade structure optimization and upgrading,and pay attention to the balanced development of regional economy.
