Population Policy has been a hot issue of concern. In 2000,China officially entered the aging society.China is the first developing country to enter the aging population and the accelerated development of the aging population has brought serious challenges to China’s economic and social development. The reemployment of the elderly is one of the important ways to deal with the aging of the population. With the improvement of life expectancy and health status of the population in our country, many old people still have some ability to work after retirement, and the accumulated cultural knowledge, technology and experience have not disappeared. The reemployment of the elderly can give full play to the potential of the elderly,to promote the development and utilization of other resources. The reemployment of the elderly can also help to reduce the burden of social security and promote the sustainable development of the economy and society. From a personal point of view,it can also increase economic sources of the elderly, and promote physical and mental health of the elderly. Therefore, promoting the reemployment of the elderly population has important significance. This paper is mainly from background of aging population and has used the CHARLS2013 data to carry on the empirical analysis by making use of Logistic Regression Model. We do research about the effect on the reemployment of the elderly from the angles of age, gender, census register, education level, marriage, self evaluation of health, number of children, income of children, economic support from children, individual income and pension.Based on empirical findings,we find that there are many factors influence of reemployment of the elderly: age, gender, census register, marriage, self evaluation of health, individual income and pension have vital influence on the reemployment of elderly people;education level, number of children, income of children and economic support from children do not have vital influence on the reemployment of the elderly.Age,gender and census register have negative impact on the reemployment of the elderly. The elderly who have high or relatively high income, the desire of the reemployment is not that strong. The increase of pension has reduced the labor participation rate of old people. The old man prefers reemployment than the old woman. The agricultural accounts are more inclined to reemployment than the non-agricultural accounts or the unified residence accounts. The elderly who have a spouse are more inclined to reemployment than the elderly who do not have a spouse. The elderly who is in good health is more inclined to the elderly who is in poor health. Also, the goodness of fit test has been carried on the Logistic model, such as Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of git test,ROC curve and so on.The results find out that the model acquires good effect.According to the above empirical results, this paper puts forward some reasonable suggestions of promoting active aging: First, improve the health of the elderly actively;Second, continue to improve the economical guarantee of pension for the elderly;Third, the industries that employ the elderly should be given assistance and support. Also, the USA and France provide us with the experience and lessons in the reemployment of the elderly.
