A Study On The Interactive Development Of Ports And Hinterland Economy In Guangxi Beibu Gulf

With the development of economic globalization,port cities located along the coast have become regional or international politics,economic and trade,transportation,culture and travel center.Equipped with advantageous transportation conditions,and complete port infrastructures which lead to the combination of human resources,logistics and information,such cities are currently acting as the main engine for the development of regional or national economy.The relationship between port and city has gradually extended to that of port group and the regions where it located.Beibu Gulf Economic Area,which has the southwest region on its back,the southeast Asia in its front,and "Pearl River Delta" to its east,is a crucial passageway to openings,the East Union as well as the world.Having advantageous location status and crucial strategic roles,this area has basically formed Guangxi Beibu Port Group which mainly consist of Fangcheng Port,Qinzhou Port and Beihai Port.Such area has rich resources and significant potentials,and hence is of considerable necessity to the regional and economic development of Guangxi Beibu Gulf,and the interactions between the port and its hinterland.On the basis of the existing research and practical experience of economic interaction between port and hinterland,this paper re-analyzes the relevant research results at home and abroad.Secondly,it analyzes the present situation and existing problems of Beibu Gulf port and its hinterland economy.The paper analyzes the weight index of each index by factor analysis method,and uses the gray relational analysis method to calculate the weight and the hinterland of the port and hinterland from 2001 to 2015 respectively;after the establishment of the Beibu Gulf port and hinterland economy synergetic model,analysis of the port and hinterland economic development phase of the changes,That from 2001 to 2015 between the northernGulf port and hinterland economy Synergy has experienced three stages from lowlevel coordination to general level coordination and high level collaboration.Finally,to promote the North Bay port and hinterland economic development provides a reliable proposal.
