In recent years,interest rate marketization has gradually advanced in China.The People’s Bank of China has gradually liberalized on the deposit and loan interest rates.China’s interest rate market reform can be described as basically completed.The basic completion of interest rate marketization on the one hand can promote the smooth operation and development of China’s economy,is conducive to the adjustment of economic structure optimization,but on the other hand,has brought great impact and impact to China’s commercial banks.China’s commercial banks have been mainly due to spread income as the main source of profit,deposit and loan business in the bank all the high proportion of business.With the marketization of interest rates,capital sources and capital use costs of commercial banks will be greatly affected,which is the profitability of commercial banks has brought impact.Interest rate marketization in giving commercial banks a certain degree of autonomy at the same time,it is inevitable to exacerbate the competition in the market.In this case,the commercial banks in the past to spread the income-based profit model need to transition.In this paper,the theory of interest rate marketization and the theory of profit model of commercial banks are explained,which lays the theoretical foundation for the analysis of the whole paper.And then analyzes the specific impact of interest rate marketization on China’s commercial banks and the present situation of profit model of commercial banks in China.The purpose is to analyze the necessity and urgency of the transformation of commercial banks’ profit model.And then through the empirical model of China’s listed commercial banks to quantify the impact of market interest rates on China’s commercial banks,while seeking to find China’s commercial banks profit model transformation direction and approach.Finally,on the basis of the previous theoretical analysis and empirical results,and on the basis of summing up the experiences and lessons of bank transformation in developed countries,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to change the profit model of China’s commercial banks in the face of interest rate marketization.
