Inventory Optimization Of Beverage Equipment Manufacturer

This thesis takes the supply chain as a perspective and does research on the inventory management of C Company in the beverage equipment manufacturing industry.After the analysis of the inventory situation and problems of the C Company,we aim to optimize the inventory management of C Company in combination of the related literatures and theories home and abroad.Firstly,this thesis begins with the internal supply chain to optimize the inventory management for C Company and will focus on the company's internal process,we intend to solve company's inventory management model singleness and demand forecast low accuracy issue,and at the same time to provide guarantee for the implementation of VMI.It mainly includes the following aspects: by implementing the ABC-XYZ matrix to improve the method of material classification,then sort the high value material to avoid excessive safety stock built;using the autoregressive moving average model(ARIMA)to improve sales forecast accuracy problem caused by seasonality.Secondly,this thesis use the vendor management inventory(VMI)thinking to optimize the C Company inventory strategies.The following aspects are included: working out the selection standard and process of VMI suppliers by referring the related literatures;the designs of VMI implementation process of the C Company;summarizing the effect of implement of VMI by compression.This thesis intend to achieve the goal of improving the inventory management of the C Company through the coordination and cooperation of internal and external supply chain,and hope to provide the reference to the inventory management of the C company and it's the related companies in the same industry.
