Along with the rapid growth of economy and continuous change of market,competition between companies are affected drastically.Since the development of economic globalization from the middle of last century,OEM has become one of the most important and widely used strategy for some developed country or top brand as to move the production process forward,which intended to transfer the industry chain,cost down and improve the core competence.This thesis takes company B for instance,investigates and finds out the problem in current process of supplier quality management(SQM)based on the introduction of its business model and status of SQM.Corresponding improvement actions are provided to address the problems per relevant theory and associate with actual situation of company B.Firstly,complete the procedure and systematically instruct the process of supplier development and approval.Secondly,scientifically select OEM supplier by using of TOPSIS method.Thirdly,define 4 types of audits and contents.Fourthly,regularly assess supplier's performance by using of quarterly scorecard.Finally,propose 4 types of reward to motivate supplier.The proposed improvement actions in this thesis are expected to address the problems found in company B's supplier quality management,to achieve the quality requirements of OEM supplier and accomplish the strategy goal of purchasing.This is also expected to be referenced for other company's OEM supplier quality management in the industry.
