A Study On The Impact Of Reverse Service Outsourcing On The Upgrading Of Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing industry is the basis for the survival and development of human industry,is the leading industry of national economy,is an important part of regional economy.Thirty years after reforming and opening,China’s manufacturing industry has made tremendous contribution to flourishing and enhancing people’s living standards,and promoting economic construction.Zhejiang Province,as China’s economic province,the rapid development of its manufacturing industry is amazing,2015 industrial output value is 1721.747 billion yuan,16 times as much as in 1994.But Zhejiang Province is still in the process of industrialization,its manufacturing industry is worse than development countries,the level of manufacturing services is low,technical content and add value of product is low.The development of manufacturing depends on exporting,manufacturing industry is locked in the low-end links in the global value chain.In recent years,with the rising of labor costs and the changing of international economic,the development of manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province has been in trouble.The production service industry,has provided a large number of knowledge technology,innovative resources,is very important to the upgrading of manufacturing sector.But the development of local producer services in Zhejiang Province is difficult to meet the needs of national economic construction.Therefore,Zhejiang Province need a channel to the international service market.In recent years,the scale of the international outsourcing market has been expanding,especially the expansion of the service outsourcing market is more rapid.More and more developing countries enterprises have gradually realized that they can obtain the international high-level production factors through the service contracts.Zhejiang Province’s reverse service outsourcing activities have brought a large number of service products for the manufacturing industry,especially to improve the quantity and quality of the supply of productive services,which has played a significant role in promoting the upgrading of manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province.This paper defines the reverse service outsourcing based on the research and review of domestic and foreign scholars,reveals the general principles of the formation and popularization of reverse service outsourcing.At the same time,it points out that reverse service outsourcing mainly promotes the upgrading of manufacturing through three factors: factor circulation,knowledge spillover and human capital accumulation.On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper firstly analyzes the present situation of manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province and the overall level of reverse service outsourcing,and points out that the level of reverse service outsourcing is low in Zhejiang Province.Then,from the point of view of difference,it is found that the reverse service outsourcing rate of capital-intensive manufacturing is higher than that of labor-intensive manufacturing,and the proportion of middle-tech reverse service outsourcing business in the overall service outsourcing is increasing.Finally,the paper analyzes the influence of reverse service outsourcing to the upgrading of manufacturing industry by using the main business profit rate as the agent variable,and finds out reverse service outsourcing can’t promote manufacturing industry upgrading,but high-tech reverse service outsourcing can promote manufacturing industry upgrading,and reverse service outsourcing is more obvious for the upgrading of capital-intensive manufacturing industry than labor-intensive manufacturing.Then,based on the conclusion of this paper,it puts forward the relevant policy suggestions for the upgrading of manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province.
