Under the impact of the Internet and big data,organizations are facing increasingly more and more uncertain factor.Thus in order to maintain a competitive advantage,organizations must adjust themselves to the uncertain environment.On the other hand,the employees also must face the uncertain and dynamic environment,Therefore,adaptive performance has been paid more and more attention by academia and enterprises.The relationship between employee and organization is actually a exchange relationship,which includes not only the material,but also social aspects of emotion.As we all know,any kind of practice organization will affect the employ's overall perception of the relationship between employee and organization.Thus,basing on the social exchange theory and performance management theory,this paper analyzes the relationship between the perception of exchange relationship and adaptive performance and explored the mediating role of organizational commitment through questionnaires to 258 employees and use regression analysis and statistical data analysis methods.The empirical result shows the significantly positive effect of social exchange relationship perception on adaptive performance and its three dimensions.But the perceived economic exchange relationship has negative effect on interpersonal relationship adaptive performance and learning adaptive performance,which are the two aspects of adaptive performance.At the same time,the three dimensions of organizational commitment play an intermediary role in the relationship between perceived exchange relationship and adaptive performance.This study not only helps to make up for the deficiencies in the current research,but also deepens the research on the relationship between employees' perception of exchange relationship and adaptive performance.Besides,it also has some enlightenment to the practice of the enterprise.This study not only help us to make up for the lack of study on the perceived exchange relationship,explore the relationship path between perceived exchange relationship and adaptive performance,and it also has certain reference for enterprises to enhance the adaptive performance of employees through the practice of human resource management.
