Study On The Effect Of Logistics Performance On Intra-industry Trade Of Machinery

The production network in East Asia has developed rapidly since 90s,especially in the machinery industry,which has led the world to form a production network in the machinery industry.China,Japan and South Korea are important participants in the production network.Since the parts often cross the border several times before they are assembled into the final product,the level of intra industry trade in East Asia is relatively high.Trade logistics is an important part of the global economy,with the development of international trade,which has a significant impact on the cost of logistics.It is the key to promote the cross-border production network to integrate and coordinate the more and more dispersed economic activities.In this paper,we study the influence of logistics performance on intra industry trade in the East Asian region,which is based on China and East Asia.And through the study,we find that the level of logistics performance of China's trading partners has a significant impact on the import and export of China's machinery parts and components.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background and literature review.Thesecond chapter introduces the performance and index of international logistics,the situation of China's logistics performance and the analysis of the role of logistics performance in trade.The third chapter analyzes the relationship between Industrial Trade and logistics performance in Turkey and the measures taken by Turkey to improve logistics performance in Turkey.The fourth chapter analyzes the situation of intra industry trade between China's machinery industry and East Asia and East Asia.In the fifth chapter,weempirically test the effect of logistics performance on intra industry trade between China and East Asia in the region and outside the region.Thesixth chapter summarizes the conclusions and gives some suggestions on the basis of China's logistics performance.
