Research On The Impact Of Tourism Destination Crisis Attributes On Tourists' Perception Of Pressure And Response Behavior

Along with the social economy progress and the advancement of globalization,local tourism booming,at the same time,there have been a series of negative problems,especially those crisis phenomenon which caused by emergency events in tourism destination are growing,for example the "911" event in 2001,the Tiananmen terrorism attack in 2013,kunming terrorist attacks in 2014,explosion in Bangkok,Thailand,in 2015,and the terrorism attack in Paris in 2016,and so on.These events not only lead up a huge impact on the local tourism development,but also affect the normal life of local residents seriously.However what is the distinguishing feature of these tourist destination crisis?What is its essential attribute?Exactly which attributes dimensions in influencing the behavior of tourists?In the face of the crisis of tourist destination,tourists will produce what kind of behavior response?In order to clarify these questions,through the theoretical construction and empirical test,this study analyzed the tourism destination crisis attributes were how affect tourists' stress perception and coping behaviors,so as to provide some theoretical reference for tourism destination crisis management and tourists' psychological and behavior management.In order to clarify these questions,this study through literature review and theoretical construction,preliminary constructed the theoretical model of this study.In order to further verify the theoretical model,this author go to the Great Mosque in June 2016 to July 2016 for field investigation,finally obtained 417 valid questionnaires.Through the statistical analysis of the empirical data,the paper further examines the mechanism of the impact of tourism destination crisis attributes on the stress perception tourists' behavior.Research process and the technical route as follows:first,through literature research,the author sorted out the relevant literature;Then through the way of interview research,this research put forward the theoretical model of tourism destination crisis attributes,the stress perception and tourists' behavior.Finally,through the field research,the theoretical theoretical model of this study is tested empirically.Through the analysis of the survey data,by the analysis of survey data,this paper get the following conclusions:(1)The dimensions constitute of the terrorist attacks crisis attributes are in the following eight aspects:threat,sudden,ambiguous,probability,time pressure,persistence,opportunity,and controllability.(2)Destination crisis attributes of threat,probability,time pressure and persistence have significant positive prediction function on stress perception.(3)these tourism destination crisis attributes,including threat,probability,time pressure and persistence have significant prediction effect on tourists' coping behaviors.(4)Stress perception plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between the tourism destination crisis attributes and tourists'coping.In particular,stress perception plays a partial mediator role in the relationship between threat and tourist cognition adjustment;Pressure perception plays a partial mediator role in the relationship between time pressure and tourists' seeking social support.Pressure perception plays a partial mediator role in the relationship between threat and bear.(5)In the mechanism of tourism destination crisis attributes and tourists'coping behavior,the mediating effect of stress perception in different paths is different.This study has certain theoretical value and practical significance.In theory:(1)This study brings the research of tourists' stress perception and tourists' coping behavior into the research of tourism destination crisis attributes.The result reveals the Influencing mechanism of tourists ' stress perception.tourists' coping behavior and tourism destination crisis attributes,which broadened the research scope and research ideas of tourism destination crisis attributes,and provide theoretical supplement and reference for exploring the nature and influencing mechanism of tourism destination crisis.(2)Based on the perspective of empirical research,this paper use case study and adopts the method of empirical research to discusses the influencing mechanism of tourism destination crisis attributes and tourists' stress perception and coping behavior,making up for the academic research on tourist destination crisis and attributes issues.(3)This study provides important theoretical supplement and basic theoretical support for the study of tourism destination crisis management and psychological and behavior of tourists in China.In practice:(1)From the perspective of tourists,it can guide them to better understanding the nature of tourism destination crisis and help them make reasonable travel decisions,also,it's good to reduce or avoid the tourists appear unnecessary panic during the crisis events.(2)From the point view of regulators,this study has clear guiding significance to the prediction and control of tourist destination crisis of terrorist attacks.(3)From the perspective of tourism enterprises and the tourism government,it can provide a scientific reference to the recover of tourism destination market and image restoration.
