The “Belt And Road” Study From The Perspective Of Global Public Goods

The arrival of the era of globalization has brought many benefits for developed countries,but more shock and challenges for most developing countries,and intensified international competition.Global public goods(GPGs)just can solve parts of the negative influences of globalization,the GPGs are benefit for most countries even all of the countries,they can promote developing countries to participate in the process of globalization,and get more interests and benefits.However,the current situation of GPGs is undersupply,there are many problems in the process of GPGs supply:The United States and other developed countries provide GPGs regardless of the needs of developing countries;The lack of power and funds to provide GPGs;The GPGs supplied by United States appear the" privatization"tendency;The United States sometimes provides GPGs for political purposes,etc."The Belt and Road" initiative is a GPG provided by our country in the new period,it can solve some problems that exist in supplying GPGs.GPGs are the product of the development of globalization,and they also promote the development of globalization,the chairman Xi Jinping proposed "The Belt and Road" initiative in 2013,"The Belt and Road" initiative conforms to the requirements of the era development and the wish to accelerate development of all countries,especially the developing countries,it is one of the most important GPGs provided by our country.Since "The Belt and Road" initiative promoted,it has provided a variety of public goods for the international society,and received positive responses of the international community,and got a good beginning.The paper studies "The Belt and Road" initiative from the perspective of GPGs,sketches out the GPGs at first,points out the motivation of China to provide "The Belt and Road" GPGs and its main contents on the basis of combing the theory of GPGs,and then makes SWOT analysis of "The Belt and Road" GPGs and puts forward some suggestions to cope with the questions so that it can promote and carry out better.The author thinks that,all aspects of "The Belt and Road" construction have achieved preliminary results as it promoted for three years.But "The Belt and Road" is a long-term process,the problems existing in GPGs have important enlightenments for the subsequent construction of "The Belt and Road".Of course,"The Belt and Road"also has important revelation functions for China to supply more and better GPGs to the word in future:China should strengthen the will and improve the ability to supply GPGs,participate actively and supply initiatively,and then make more contributions for the international community.
