An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Public Expenditure Structure On Economic Growth In Fujian Province

Construction and adjustment of public expenditure structure directly or indirectly affects all aspects of society,the scientific and reasonable public expenditure structure is the basic premise to improve the efficiency of public expenditure,to Promote theimplementation of government functions,to advance the transformation of government service,and it is also an important means to boost the economic development of a country or a region.Starting from the functional structure of public expenditure in Fujian Province and accord to the analysis of the theoretical framework of Cobb Douglas function,this paper finds that the adjustment of public expenditure structure that is able to improve the economic growth rate can be attributed to the fact that the expenditure has not yet reached the optimal proportion of the maximum economic growth rate,the economic growth rate will increase if the structure quantity is increased or increased.Based on the statistical data of Fujian Province during the period of 1990-2015,this paper that adopts Co integration test and impulse response analysis shows that the expenditure of economic construction in Fujian province has a negative effect on economic growth,and the social cultural and educational expenditure has positive effect on economic growth.The administrative expenditure acts as economic construction expenditure,reduce the economic growth rate of Fujian Province,and the social security expenditure and social education expenditure has the same function,have a positive impetus to the economic development of Fujian province.This paper also calculate the public expenditure of each project to adapt and promote the economic development of the optimal proportion of expenditure,and re-examine the rationality of public expenditure structure of Fujian Province.According to local conditions in Fujian Province,this paper gives some countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the structure of public expenditure in Fujian province in order to adapt to and promote the economic development of Fujian province.
