In this passage,on the basis of the current competitive situation of PV market,it studied and researched the top manager's ability of decision-making in Company L from the angle of enterprise strategic management.And before that,the summary of worldwide research literature about the top manager's ability of decision-making is studied first.The principal factors leading to the decision-making misplay were summarized in this paper.And the factors were described in the view of decision-making quality and technique.Based on that,the assessment of the top manager's ability of decision-making in Company L was conducted by sample survey and document research.The assessment covered the Mckinsey 7S Model,the characteristics and competency of top management team.By the analysis of nine typical problems in top manager's decision-making,it was found that over-optimism,weak integrated ability,and poor strategic execution were the principal factors leading to the decision-making misplay.And in this passage,the corresponding corrective measures were also presented.The integrated ability of the top manager team could be improved by team composition strategy,power allocation strategy and salary strategy.And the over-optimism could be prevented by self-awareness strategy.While the strategic execution could be promoted by decision-making process improvement,risk control mechanism establishment and organization informatization construction.And on the basis of IMPM and the current situation of Chinese enterprises,the top manager's ability development strategy could be established.At last,the above four strategies would improve the top manager's ability of decision-making in Company L.The expansion and bankruptcy of Company L were both rapidly,which is typicalin this time.I hope this paper can provide some illumination and reference value for both Company L and other companies in PV industry or new industries.
