| In the era of knowledge economy,technological innovation has become an important driving force to promote the development and its international competitiveness of a country's economy.The R&D activities is the key factor to improve technological innovation,especially for the high-tech enterprises with knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive,the R&D activities is also their critical part.Therefore,how to effectively evaluate the impact of R&D investment to high-tech enterprises,has great significance to enhance the ability of independent innovation,promote the level of regional science and technology development,and keep sustainable development of high-tech industries.The paper aims at analyzing the effects of R&D investment on the technological innovation of high-tech enterprises.Based on the understanding of domestic and foreign literature review and relevant background information,this paper firstly summarizes the related theories of R&D and high-tech enterprises.Secondly it analyzes the present situation of R&D investment and development of high-tech enterprises,and puts forward the existing problems.Then,on the base of the annual report data from 2014 to 2016 of listed high-tech enterprises in our country,the paper empirically studies the relationship between R&D investment and the number of invention patents under multivariate linear regression model by using SPSS software.The result shows that there is a significant positive effect on the R&D investment and the number of invention patents.There is a lagged relationship between R&D investment and the number of invention patents,the effect of lagging two years is more significant than that of one year.The R&D activity of high-tech enterprises in the different industries is different.Finally,it pus forwards how to improve the technological innovation level of high-tech enterprises.Suggestions are put forward as follows:increasing the investment intensity of R&D expenditure,optimizing the structure of R&D personnel,strengthening the patent protection of intellectual property rights,promoting the classification and guidance of high-tech enterprises from different industries,and perfecting the innovation risk management system of high-tech enterprises. |
