| With the continuous development of China,the Chinese enterprises’ pace of"going out" is speeding up and the amount of foreign direct investment is also growing.With the promotion of One Road,One Belt initiative and the development of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area,ASEAN has become the key area of foreign investment for Chinese enterprises.Chinese enterprises have a tremendous development potential in ASEAN whether in the investment space or in the investment value.But for Chinese enterprises,the location choice is an unavoidable issue for Chinese enterprises to invest in ASEAN,so it has important significance to analyze the location choice of Chinese enterprises’direct investment in ASEAN.Based on the related theory of outward foreign direct investment and combined with the relevant knowledge of investment location choice and location factors analysis,this paper is aimed at studying the location choice of Chinese enterprises’ direct invest-ment in ASEAN and providing reference for Chinese enterprises’ direct investment location decision.In this paper,the general influencing factors have been put forward based on the theoretical and empirical research,which provides a theoretical basis for the following research.And then the present situation and existing problems of Chinese enterprises has been analyzed,what’s more,this paper also evaluates the location factors of ASEAN by TOPSIS,which reveals the objective location status of ASEAN.Later,it analyzes the influencing factors when Chinese enterprises invest in ASEAN by Gravity Model,totally it can be concluded from the result that the main factors of Chinese enterprises’ investment in ASEAN is the market,the cost and the technology,and these factors vary from different countries based on the separate test.Finally,some useful suggestions to optimize the location choice in ASEAN has been put forward based on the previous research from following three dimensions,expanding overseas markets,reducing production costs and learning advanced technology. |
