| "The Belt and Road" is an important measure for China to promote regional integration and to establish a more equitable and orderly international relationship.Trade facilitation has become an important issue in the field of international trade as an important means of simplifying and coordinating trade procedure.Trade facilitation is also a key area for&"The Belt and Road"construction.The paper divides "The Belt and Road" countries into six geographical areas,including ASEAN,South Asia,Central Asia,West Asia and North Africa,central and Eastern Europe,Mongolia and Russia.On this basis,the paper makes a study on the difference of trade facilitation between China and "The Belt and Road" major countries.The paper standing for innovation,based on "The Belt and Road" overall perspective,creatively applies the trade facilitation index ETI and TFI to the measure of trade facilitation level,and analyzes the difference and its influence of trade facilitation between China and the countries along "The Belt and Road".In the research method,the paper uses the comparative analysis method to compare the difference of the trade facilitation between China and countries of "The Belt and Road" by the whole region and every region.And based on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the state of trade and trade facilitation cooperation between China and regions along the road,the extended and modified gravitational trade model is used to analyze the trade influence of trade facilitation difference.Based on the review of domestic and foreign scholars’ study in the first part of the paper,the paper combs the relevant research results of trade facilitation and "The Belt and Road".The second part of the paper introduces the meaning of trade facilitation and the significance of its assessment.With the Enabling Trade Indication(ETI)proposed in "The Global Enabling Trade Report" which released by World Economic Forum(WEF),and Trade Facilitation Indicators(TFI)proposed in "Trade Policy Papers" which released by Organization for Economic Co-opration and Development(OECD),the paper introduces the trade facilitation evaluation system.Through the analysis of trade scale and trade structure between China and countries of"The Belt and Road" in the third part of the paper,here thinks that commodity structure between China and countries along the road still needs to be further optimized,trade balance remains to be strengthened.In the fourth part of it,the paper selects the ETI data for 2014-2016,Global Competitiveness Index(GCI)published by WEF for 2008-2015,and Corruption Perceptions Index(CPI)published by Transparency International for 2008-2015,and constructs ETI and TFI facilitation evaluation system.The paper draws the conclusion of the facilitation difference by measuring the difference of trade facilitation level among major countries along the road.At the same time,the part analyzes the status of trade facilitation cooperation between China and the countries along the road.In the fifth part of the paper,through the extended and modified gravitational model,the paper selects the panel data from 2008 to 2015,empirical analyzes the relationship between trade facilitation difference of countries along the road and China’s export,and the relationship between different trade facilitation measure and China’s export trade.The empirical analysis shows that the promotion of trade facilitation,the level of countries along"The Belt and Road" can have a significant effect on the development of China’s export trade,and different trade facilitation measure will have different effect on China’s export.Finally,the paper summarizes the above results,draws the corresponding conclusion and puts forward some suggestions to promote the development of trade facilitation cooperation between China and countries of "The Belt and Road". |
