Currently,the business situation facing commercial banks is getting increasingly complicated due to the profound reforms in economic and financial environment.Meanwhile,with the deepening of reform and openness in China's financial sector,the competition of banking system is gradually formed and becoming fiercer than ever.Human resources play a crucial role in the large-scale financial companies and have great impact on their strength,status and core competitiveness.As a matter of fact,competition among banks is invariably characterized by competition for high quality talents.Abundant human resources and strong talent advantages are the key to reform and development of commercial banks,which means that development and reform are in the hands of those who dominate talents advantages.The optimization of human resources is quite important to the formation of competitive advantages;moreover,it is an inevitable trend of lean management of human resources.First of all,the author clarified the ideas and methods through an analysis on the theoretical research results of domestic and foreign scholars.It also covered the HR allocation in commercial banks,theories and methods related to HR allocation based on the connotations of HR allocation.Then,it described current status of HR management Tianjin Branch,including quantity,structure and distribution of its human resources and made head-to-head comparison of HR allocation with other commercial banks in the same region.Based on the analyses above,the thesis indicated the challenges and reasons affecting HR allocation in Tianjin Branch of GS Bank and pointed out the GS bank's strengths and weaknesses through SWOT model.Last but not the least,it provided an optimization plan and explored possible ways about organizational restructuring,human resources acquisition and distribution,management and labor union optimization,training and human resources allocation mechanism improvement,branches integration,channel transformation and so on.In this thesis,the author intended to promote human resources allocation in GS Bank,Tianjin Branch and to transform it from extensive development to connotative development and to improve human resources efficiency as well as its whole business.In doing so,its overall competitiveness could ultimately be enhanced in regional finance sector.
