Research On Industrial Convergence Efficiency Of The City Group In The Middle Reach Of Yangtze River

As a large emerging economies wave of today's international economic development,industrial convergence is the product of the industrial development to a certain stage under the new social background,which provides industrial economy with a new model of development.Integration development between industries can not only accelerate the transformation and upgrading of industries,and form the new industrial formats,but also bring both sides more economic effect and social effect.Until April 2015,the Chinese Government approved the "city group in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River development plan",though integrative construction of city group in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River has always been concerned,marking integrative construction of this region has been fully activated.With industrial 4.0 backgrounds and vigorously promotion for the construction of "two type society",it put forward requirements on the industrial integration of this city group.Based on the theory of industrial economics,with the industrial convergence background,this thesis make efficiency as the core,and select the city group in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River as the research object.On this basis,this thesis makes an empirical study and tries to put forward some suggestions to optimize the industrial convergence efficiency of the city group in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.(1)Based on the study of the existing research on the relevant theory about industrial convergence and its measurement,found that among all these researches,there are far more qualitative analysis studies than quantitative ones,which cover the content,the reason,the mechanism,process,effect and regulation policies of the industrial convergence.The quantitative research on industrial convergence mainly focuses on the measurement of industrial convergence degree,but the researches of industrial convergence efficiency are rarely.And domestic scholars mainly base on provincial perspective to study the efficiency of industrial convergence,rarely involve cross regions and inter-provincial domain.(2)Based on the analysis about the current situations of convergence efficiency of the city group in the middle reach of Yangtze River,found that that secondary industrial is still the driving force to promote the economic development and industrial isomorphism is serious.And the leading industries and high-tech industries have been initially integrated,and emerging industries is gradually realizing fusion with traditional industries,which promote the benign interaction development of industries.(3)This thesis uses the benevolent DEA cross-efficiency model to evaluate the integration efficiency of city group in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.Take the integration of high-tech industry and traditional industry for an example,it measures the integration efficiency of city group at first,founding that integration efficiency between high-tech industry and traditional industry was first increased and then decreased.Then the thesis measures integration efficiency of Wuhan city group,ring Chang-Zhu-Tan city group and around Poyang Lake city group respectively,founding that the efficiency difference between the three city groups is obvious,Wuhan city group and ring Chang-Zhu-Tan city group first increased and then decreased,however,around Poyang Lake city group showed a stable growth trend.
