| The development of urban agglomerations has closely related to the development of the economic and China’s new urbanization.And urban agglomerations are the main driving force for the economic development of the country and regions.The central and western of Zhejiang is the backward area of Zhejiang province.In order to solve the problem of regional development gap,Zhejiang province decided to cultivate the Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration.Taking MidZhejiang urban agglomeration as the research unit,the quantitative assessment was made to assess the development status of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration from the view of relations and then researched the cultivation mechanism.Firstly,compared the methods of identifying the influence scope of agglomerations from main idea,index and model,scale and scope,advantage and disadvantage.The breaking point model improved by combining the synthesized power of cities and the actual road distance of the optimal path which was solved by network analysis in GIS was used to identify the boundary of MidZhejiang urban agglomeration.The weighted Voronoi diagram with the synthesized power of cities as the weight was also used to rectify the boundary of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomerations.The influence scope of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration was comprehensive identified by synthesizing the two methods.Then,from the internal relations of the urban agglomeration,establishing the economic relation index,transport relation index,logistics relation index,information relation index and financial relation index,this paper assessed the development status of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration.It showed that the most closely connected area in Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration was Jinhua-Yiwu,the development degree of northeast was much higher than other areas.Jinhua and Yiwu were the core areas of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration.In the development process of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration,the transport relation appeared balanced development trend and the logistics relation appeared linear developmental trend.The spatial development process of economic relation,information relation,and financial relation had three stages: punctate development trend-linear developmental trend-balanced development trend.So,we can infered that in Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration,the development degree of transport relation was the highest,while logistics relation was the lowest.Lastly,based on analysised the developmental characteristics of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration,explored the cultivation mechanism of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration.In the development process of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration,it had a distinctive brand of Zhejiang urbanization model and had formed professional markets and massive economy.The development status of Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration was the result of market mechanism and government strategic decision.In the future,it should enhance the regional integration based on functional areas analysis and inner governance to make Mid-Zhejiang urban agglomeration develop better. |
