Research On The Efficiency Of China's Home Appliance Listed Companies

With decades of rapid economic development,the domestic appliance industry has been rapid development.Obviously,the home appliance industry is now a very mature industry,which means that the industry's competition is very fierce.Competition is not only in the number of scale and cost of the competition,but already the efficiency of business competition.So the efficiency of the study of home appliances industry is necessary.At present,data envelopment analysis has been vigorously developed,the advantages of this method is:there is no need for the exact dimension of the input variable and the output variable,and there is no need for a clear function relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable.However,the traditional DEA method does not take into account the decision-making unit by the environmental variables and random factors,and thus the efficiency value is not accurate and objective.Therefore,this paper selects three-stage DEA method to analyze the efficiency of home appliance industry.This article selected A shares listed 44 household electrical appliance enterprises as a sample to assess the entire household electrical appliance industry industry efficiency,using the three-stage DEA model proposed by Fried in 2002.This model is a combination of the one-stage DEA model and the SFA model,Which effectively solves the shortcomings of the one-stage DEA model and the two-stage DEA model.That is,it can remove the influence of the external environment factor and the random error on the slack variable,so that the technical efficiency is more accurate and practical.This article selected three environmental variables: the date of listing;the per capita GDP of the enterprise;enterprises in the province per capita GDP.Research conclusion: The use of three-stage DEA research on the efficiency of the home appliance industry is necessary;environmental variables,the listing period and GDP growth rate for the efficiency of listed household electrical appliance enterprises have hindered the role of the location of per capita GDP enterprises listed on the efficiency of listed companies;to enhance the overall efficiency of the appliance industry,improving the efficiency of the industry scale is the key;for companies with low efficiency and low efficiency,they should make full use of capital to develop their own and expand their economies;and for companies that have been on themarket for many years but are still inefficient,they need industry consolidation to improve the overall efficiency of the industry.
