Panel TV power supply,one kind of switching power supply,grew up with the large-scaled development of flat-panel display technology around the year of 2000.After 2008,flat-panel TV based on LCD replaced the traditional CRT rapidly,turning the flat panel display industry into the secondary industry following semi-conductor.M has started the R&D,manufacturing and marketing of the customized power supplies of the flat panel TV since 2003.With the rapid development of the flat-plane TV,M has become the best-knownbrand and the largest domestic supplier in flat-panel power supplyindustrywith the output over10 million pcs in 2011 and more than 500 customers worldwide.The power demand was reduced,resulted from the progress in display technology,makesit easier to master power supply technology,which leads tofierce competition and the maturity of the market.Especially for power supplies of low and medium power level(below 60W),the technological competition has turned into price competition.In 2012,domestic TV main board manufacturers brought out the integrated board(two in one board)for flat-panel TV power supplies of low and medium power level,which intensified the price reduction of the power supplies of low and medium power level.Meanwhile,as a result of fierce competition in cost,some strong TV OEM/ODMmanufacturers took steps to integrate the main board and power board to lessen the purchased power supplies.In this case,M's flat-panel TV power supplywas confronted withmany crises.Besides,TV industry pattern has also experienced great changes.With the decline of Japan TV industry,China has gradually become the largest producer of flat-panel TV.At the same time,the flat-panel TV's developing trend towards large-screen,high-definition,intelligence and energy-saving and continuous development of OLED present much higher requirements on TV parts.In this situation,high-end TV manufacturers are becoming more dependent onpower supply companieswhich own the core technology and ability of providing solutions.For the power supply company which has high-tech and has transferred from low-power to high-power,there will be a long-termmarket demand.M is now faced with new development opportunity in the field of flat-panel TV power supply.This article researches on M company by means ofeconomic management,enterprise management theory and method.And it analyzes systematically the global developing status of flat-panel TV power supply and the industrial competition and presents an overall analysis of M's strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats in the field of flat-panel TV power supply by applying the competitive advantage theory and SWOT Analysis.Based on these,this article puts forward M's general development strategy.This article researches on M's flat-panel TV power supply by means of economic management,enterprise management theory and method..After systematically analyzing the competitive patterns of global flat-panel TV industry and flat-panel TV power supply industry in China,M's external macro-environment and internal resource environment,we find out the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats that exist in M..Based on this,this article analyzes M's strategic options by applying SWOT.It also puts forward M's general development strategy after further analyzing M's current situation and development goal.In the end,specific strategic safeguard measures are presented that M should implement in order to realize the strategic target...
