| Since the 1960 s,developed economies began to transition from “industrial economies” to“service economies”.With the constant development of the economy,China's industry structure gradual adjusted,and the proportion of service industry to the total economy is increasing.During the “12th Five-Year” period,China's service industry has made a series of new breakthroughs and new progress,the service industry has become largest industry of the national economy.During the “13th Five-Year”period,based on the “new norm”,China's service industry should not only to enhance the scale of service development as the core,but also to focus on the efficiency development.In that way we can promote the service industry in a higher innovation,coordination and opening platform to do.In recent years,the added value of service industry in Guangdong has been ahead of other areas,becoming the largest service industry province of China.In 2015,the proportion of value-added services accounted for 50.61% of GDP in Guangdong Province,the industrial structure is further upgraded.Under this background,this paper chooses Guangdong as the research area,in order to investigate the evolution trend of technical efficiency of service industry and explore the factors and affecting mechanisms to the evolution trend.This paper will answer the following questions:1.What technical efficiency of service industry is and how to calculate it;2.Using stochastic frontier model to calculate the technical efficiency of service industry of 21 cities in Guangdong during 2005-2015,and then analyze the evolution trend of technical efficiency;3.Besides,this paper has been explored the spatial interaction of technical efficiency in cities.Based on the space angel,this paper takes a deep look at the influencing factors and influencing mechanism of technical efficiency by using SDM.The research shows that:1.During the research period,the technical efficiency of service industry in Guangdong province is gradually increased,there is a converging trend.The relative gap in regions is narrowing;2.Guangdong's service industry technical efficiency is not randomly distributed.There is a obvious positive spatial agglomeration which showing that if the two cities adjacent,then the performance is similar;3.By constructing the spatial panel model of adjacency matrix,the empirical results show that the improvement of technical efficiency has positive spillover effect among adjacent areas.Related factors also influence the technical efficiency of service industry in the region and adjacent areas through direct and spillover effects. |
