With the increasingly serious environmental problems in our country,the national level pays more and more attention to the sustainable development strategy.China's natural gas industry in the west east gas transmission,the construction of the coastal area LNG receiving station,imported from abroad,such as LNG have been greatly developed,to a large extent promoted the upgrading of gas companies.On the other hand,with the degree of liberalization of the public sector,foreign investment,private enterprises are also actively involved in the gas industry competition.China's traditional gas enterprises are facing opportunities and challenges in this context,the traditional state-owned gas enterprises and private enterprises in the face of foreign competition,must grasp and apply the theory of competitive strategy to participate in market competition,improve the core competitiveness of enterprises.NS company is a regional gas company in Guangdong,China,which is mainly engaged in industrial and commercial customers,and is very competitive in the energy market.With the fluctuation of various energy prices in the market,the change of the internal and external environment,the potential customer quantity is relatively reduced,NS company needs to break through the challenge,create the opportunity,form the competitive advantage,and promote the sustainable development of the enterprise.In this paper,the competitive strategy theory of NS company in Guangdong as the actual case,the theoretical analysis and practical examples of the combination of enterprises,the integrated use of management,economics,marketing theories and methods for state-owned gas enterprises in alternative energy competition,competition in the peer layout,how to adjust the enterprise competitive strategy,in order to adapt to market changes,market development,market share,profit.Through the fierce competition NS terminal market case,according to the analysis of the company's strengths and weaknesses,opportunities and threats,taking into account the market situation of NS company,the company's resources,such as operating situation,choose the suitable competition strategy,summed up for the city gas enterprises to participate in market competition strategy.
