| In recent years,our country’s foreign trade faces serious challenges that it never experienced before.Firstly,compare with domestic trade,the business process of foreign trade is complex,involving operations like special Customs-clearance and international logistics.Secondly,foreign trade firms have already transformed from production competition to trade service competition due to the high cost of domestic human power and raw materials and the heavy burden of resources and environment.One Touch is a platform which adopted standardized,specialized and networked means to provide Customs-clearance,logistics and tax return service for foreign trade firms.The emergence of such foreign trade service enterprise brings great convenience to firms involving in foreign trade.Firms need only to take order and manufacturing to focus on its core businesses.In order to take advantage of international trade competition,foreign trade service firms in China are in urgent need to innovate business model and strengthen competitiveness.This article first reviews relevant research of business model,business model innovation and innovative incentive of business model from scholars at home and abroad.Based on this review,the definition of business model innovation in this article is made.Subsequently,from the perspective of component elements,this article conducts research on the basic approach of business model innovation.The component elements of business model innovation include product and service,target customer,connection network,internal value chain and profit model.Business model innovations based mainly on the above mentioned elements variety and inter-element relationship variety form the basic approach of business model innovation of firms.The research of this article on business model innovation of foreign trade service firms is based on theoretical basis of business model innovation.Through analysis of traditional foreign trade service firm’s business model and the dilemmas they face during business development,we can learn the trend of business model innovation of China’s foreign trade service firms.The research on basic approach taken by One Touch in business model innovation is to provide implication and guidance to the business model innovation practice of foreign trade service sector and promote the continuing development of business model discipline. |
