In recent years.Xinjiang railway has a rapid development.The change during straight line shape,herringbone shape to reticular shape.And the railway speed of Xinjiang is also rising,it from the opening hours 45km/h to the speed of new open motor car can reach 200km/h.During several times speed increase,even the average speed of the train also can up to the maximum speed 160km/h.Under this change,use the data of railway,population and economy in Xinjiang,to explore the change of urban size structures and spatial interaction.Then to study the impact of the railway between urban size structures and spatial interaction of Xinjiang.Based on the previous research,to study the influence of Xinjiang on urban size structures and spatial interaction by deepening and empirical.And provide the data reference for urban size structures,spatial structure optimization and the future railway construction in Xinjiang.Through the experimental analysis,obtained the following conclusions:(1)The study shows that the railway speed of the growth stage around 2010,didn’t affect the overall population along the urban population scale change.But from small area such as Tianshan Mountain North Slope Economic Development Belt,the railway after the large-scale speed increase in 2010 of Xinjiang.The population present growth tendency along the railway line in Tianshan Mountain North Slope Economic Development Belt.(2)With the increase in railway operating rates,the temporal distance becomes smaller,the increasing of population potential and reachability in Xinjiang urbans.But from the overall trend analysis found that the trend of population potential and reachability value of each urban under different railway rates hasn’t change.The effect of railway speed on the spatial interaction between urbans isn’t obvious in Xinjiang.(3)The effect of railway development to the spatial interaction between Xinjiang urbans have existing regional difference.The population potential of railway towns in southern Xinjiang is slightly larger than that in northern Xinjiang.Xinjiang capital city of Urumqi,because of its large population and the location of important railway terminal.Due to the potential value is much higher than other urbans.As the speed increases,the gap between the population potential and the other urbans is greater.(4)The time accessibility is subjected by regional influence in Xinjiang urbans.Hetian,Beitun and Huocheng county as edge cities along Xinjiang railway.Due to the end of the railway line,and the distance is far from between the other cities,sothe time accessibility value is higher,but accessibility is weak.However Hejing,Yanqi,Tulufan,Urumqi all in the middle of railway line.The railway lines are more passed,the network is relatively dense.Therefore,the time accessibility value is smaller and the accessibility is relatively strong.
