| The problem of overcapacity and industrial upgrading path of Tangshan iron and steel industry has caused widely social attention in recent years.Steel industry has an import position in secondary industry which is in charge of the lifeline of Tangshan economy.From the aspects of industrial structure,“Steel being overwhelming big” is a distinctive economic characteristics in Tangshan.But blind expansion and low-level excessive overlapping investment in recent years has caused low-end capacity everywhere,which wastes resources and damages environment,meanwhile,it is related to whether the economic can get a sound development or not.How to digest and absorb these low-end capacities and propose a corresponding solution of solving the overcapacity problem is the key determinant of next stage development of Tangshan iron and steel industry.In academic circles,there is a vacancy of theoretical research regarding how the overcapacity formed and how to resolve,and they lack empirical research.So the overcapacity improvement based on the results of this research brings little effect.Based on the existing research results,from both the empirical and theoretical point of view,under the environment of government promoting reform of the supply front,this paper makes a research on the current situation of overcapacity of Tangshan iron and steel industry,and gives specific suggestions on the upgrading path of Tangshan iron and steel industry.According to chronological order,the research gets a general knowledge of development history of Tangshan iron and steel industry.Applying “Diamond Model”,it analyzes Tangshan iron and steel industry competitiveness.Starting from Tangshan iron and steel industry upgrading mechanism,it raises “four-in-one” upgrade path and analyzes the necessity and barriers in process,and then leads to the upgrading route and safeguard measure of Tangshan iron and steel industry based on the general Industrial upgrading paths. |
