The gradual deepening of the reform of the telecommunication industry has led to the increasingly fierce competition in China's telecommunications industry.At the same time,the problem of customer churn is becoming more and more serious with the fierce competition,which to be solved urgently by telecom operators.Maintaining the old customers is a more effective measure to maintain the competitiveness of enterprises compared with attracting new customers,which needs the high cost.The following aspects are offered in the thesis of the application of data mining in the maintenance of old customers.First,for the needs of the customer's personalized,operators' refined marketing is the key factor in telecommunications marketing today.How to get the users' demand becomes the most important problem.Hereby,a customer segmentation model is presented.According to customer demand,customers are classified and summarizes the main features of each class of customers.The corresponding telecom marketing strategy is offered according to the characteristics of customers to achieve the effect of reduce costs and increase benefits.Second,the loss of stock customers has brought huge losses to enterprises.How to maintain the old user is another important theme.Customer retention is not only to find the churn customers,but also to analyze the key factors of customer churn.This thesis propose a customer churn warning model.There are many kinds of algorithms is used to build customer churn model by data mining at present.After the comparison of various classical algorithms,the most accurate and stable model is the final customer churn warning model.We mined the most important factors affecting customer churn.The customer churn warning scoring model is obtained through the key influencing factors and their weights.With the score forecast model,market operators can easily get the user's stability condition,and carry out the customer maintenance work.Finally,according to the model,the thesis introduces the application of the model and puts forward the key management strategy.
