Structural Evolution Of Construction Subdivisional Industry In China

The construction industry is a pillar industry of China's national economy,which has a significant effect on people's production and living.The appearance of subdivisional industry in construction is closely related with the development of economy and the coordination of subdivisional industrial structure is part of the supply-side reform,and also a way to upgrading of construction industrial structure which is of great importance to sustainable development in construction industry.The research on evolution problem of subdivisional industrial structure in construction is helpful to improve the theoretical foundation of the construction subdivisional industry,and provides useful reference to the development practice of construction industry.This article breaks the tradition which the scope of research is narrow construction industry by including subcontracting industry and engineering services industry.It makes a comparative analysis of construction related industries and product systems both in China and abroad to sets up a classification system of China's construction subdivisional industry.Then the paper chooses the operating revenue,the number of enterprise and employees of subdivisional industry in 2011-2013 to analyze the current situation of structure.The Shift-Share Model is established to study the movements of subdivisional industry operating revenue in the short term.The results show that: the situation of subdivisional industry structure is not optimistic.The housing industry is the main driver of development in construction industry which accounts for a large proportion.Subcontracting industry is at a weak position and has a narrow living space.Exploration and design industry has high profit and fast growth.Engineering supervision industry,bidding agent industry and cost consulting industry account for a small share and grow slowly,resulting in difficult situation of construction development.From the angle of historical development,the article combins the evolution of construction subdivisional industry and discloses the historical background of the subdivisional industrial origin.This paper builds three-dimensional structure space of construction industry to study the evolution trace from 2003 to 2013 and build Logistic Growth Model.Then scale structural indicators of engineering service industry from the year of 2010 to 2015 are selected.This paper briefly explains the theory about the evolution of subdivisional industry structure in construction,and some policy suggestions have been put forward to optimize the industrial structure.The result shows that the housing industry rapid growth has passed and becomes fading.Narrow construction industries have stepped into the degenerating stage in recent years,we must update the industries as soon as possible.Exploration and design industry is the champion in engineering service industry and the problem of employee loss in engineering supervision industry is serious.The structural evolution of subdivisional industry has a dual characteristics both horizontal and vertical.It's evolution motivation are market demand,technology innovation and policy,and the conductive route of subdivisional industrial structure is related to construction manufacturing process.The measures of structural optimization in construction subdivitional industry are cultivating the new energy industry and adjustments in industrial proportion.
