According to Management science,organization is an activity system of specific goals,carefully designed structure and conscious coordination.At the same time,it is also a social entity,which is closely linked with the external environment,including but not limited to,different types of enterprises.Its advanced and reasonable framework can have a direct impact on the efficiency of business operation and the competitiveness of enterprises.With the constant development of society and economy,as well as the extensive use of new technologies,internal and external factors that have an influence on organizational structure are changing very quickly.Under the background of the fast-changing environment in modern China in particular,it is necessary for Chinese enterprises,small and medium private ones in particular,to protect their stable and flexible market advantages,secure sound and sustainable development and carry out necessary organizational changes to adapt themselves to the changing internal and external environment.Through continuous changes,some enterprises have managed to innovate their organizational structures and management systems,maintain their competitive edges and seize opportunities for survival and sustainable development.But others have got lost in their organizational changes.Their inappropriate ways or methods have led to their bankruptcy in the end.This thesis takes F Company as a subject for case research to study the two significant organizational changes of the company in its development by means of normative theoretical analysis,empirical analysis and case analysis.This thesis also analyzes and summarizes the company’s gains and losses in its two organizational changes.And on the basis of it,the management of organizational changes of private companies in China will be further researched and analyzed to provide practical and operational suggestions for Chinese small and medium private enterprises to cope with different problems in the organizational changes.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part: the introduction to background information.It introduces the research background,significance of the research,research subject,research methods,main contents and logical structure;the second part: literature review.It is concerned with the explanation of important vocabularies in this research and relevant literature about the theories of corporate organizational changes from both home and abroad;the third part: the nature and basic information of F Company and the printing industry.Besides,this part introduces the company’s two organizational changes in detail and makes a contrastive analysis and a summary of these changes;the fourth part: analysis of the major problems in the organizational change management of small and medium private enterprises in China and some suggestions based on the experience gained from the case study of F Company.And on the basis of the experience and lessons of F Company in organizational changes,the thesis hopes to provide some insights for the future development of private enterprises in China,so that they will be more competitive in the market;the fifth part: conclusion and enlightenment.The thesis begins from the research and analysis of the two organizational changes in a typical private enterprise,F Company.Further,it summarizes and analyzes the existing problems in the organizational change management of small and medium private enterprises in China,with its focus on four important elements.They are management of organizational inertia,leadership of organizational changes,training and communication,constraint and management mechanism,so that the thesis can provide some suggestions to the current problems and offer theoretical and practical references to the future organizational changes of small and medium enterprises in China.
