With the rapid development of economic globalization,China's SMEs(small and medium enterprises)are also actively integrated into the global economic system,and contribute an important force for China's international production.At the same time,the internationalization of enterprises has been regarded as an important measure of national and regional competition performance,and it is also considered to be the necessary factor to promote the development of the “along the way” strategy and ensure the survival and development of SMEs.However,the internationalization of SMEs in China is facing many difficulties,such as the rapid rise of emerging countries,corporate funds tight,tax burden,talent shortage,and so on.Therefore,it is urgent to obtain scientific and effective theoretical guidance.The research on the internationalization of SMEs is based on the SMEs in developed countries,which is not universal to the internationalization of SMEs in China.Resource-based theory holds that each enterprise is a combination of unique resources,although compared to large multinational corporations,SMEs do not have market power and economies of scale,but in the internationalization process also has its own resources to bring the different advantages.Therefore,this paper bases on the resource-based view and studies the direct impact of different resource on the internationalization of SMEs.And in the process of internationalization of SMEs,there is a close relatianship between transnational entrepreneurial orientation and the willing of the international development.Marketing innovation represents the ability of SMEs to develop overseas markets,so the transnational entrepreneurial orientation and corporate marketing innovation are added into the research model.This paper explores the impact of resources on them and their relationship with the degree of internationalization of the SMEs.This paper divides the enterprise's resource into four parts: entrepreneurial capacity,financial resources,human resources and relational network.This paper discussed the relationship among the different resource,transnational entrepreneurial orientation,enterprise innovation and degree of internationalization.The empirical analysis of the international SMEs in the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces was carried out using the questionnaire,and the results are as follows:(1)entrepreneurial capacity,financial resources,human resources and the relational network are conducive to the improvement of the degree of international SMEs.(2)Entrepreneurship capacity,human resources and relational network are positively related to the transnational entrepreneurial orientation of SMEs.The impact of financial resources on the transnational entrepreneurial orientation of SMEs is not significant.(3)Financial resources and human resources have a positive effect on enterprise marketing innovation.Entrepreneurial capacity and relational network have no significant effect on enterprise innovation.(4)Transnational entrepreneurial orientation has a significant positive effect on the marketing innovation and the degree of internationalization of SMEs.Enterprise innovation also has a positive impact on the degree of internationalization of SMEs.Based on the results,this research provided some suggestions for government and SMEs.In order to help the construction of international resources for SMEs,and to provide policy ideas for the government improving the degree of internationalization of SMEs.
