For recent years,traditional manufacturing enterprises have been suffering from rising material prices,labor costs are also rising sharply,at the same time company ask for cost reduction.In recent years,traditional manufacturing enterprises have been faced with rising raw material prices,continuous increasing of labor costs and company ask for cost reduction.Under such circumstances,it requires a higher standard on the production workshop.Company leadership has been thinking about how to ensure the quality and quantity of the premise can achieve profit growth? Lean production has been applied in all kinds of factory all over the world.It have significant effect in quality control,enhance efficiency,reduce cost,safety in production and control the delivery date and so on.Many domestic enterprises also introduce and implement lean production concept.Lean production was been applied in auto industry and begin to rise in the traditional manufacturing industry in these years.D group co.,LTD.is an traditional enterprise whose main production includes blast protection equipment,purification equipments and so on.In order to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises,we should be able to reduce the waste of processes significantly.D company leadership has been actively looking for ways to advance the process optimization.Lean production mode is the most advanced management concept,the use of value stream maps and ECRS analysis tools to find existing problems in the manufacturing process and to improve,so as to improve product quality and production efficiency,strain changing market demand.This paper will take the side-open purification unit products of the company as the research object,calculate the production rhythm,drawing diagram and value stream map,analysis reasons of waste in the production process,select different tools to eliminate waste and map out the future value stream map.Using ECRS principle flexibly to adjust the process of operation time and operation content,make the production time of each station is close to the production rhythm--a balanced production line.Combining with the current layout of the metal workshop and handling roadmap,to transform,reduce unnecessary handling and waiting.Through the pull system to control the production process,control of wip,prevent excessive production effectively.Through a series of measures,in order to achieve the following results.Production line balancing rate increased to 82.46%,average monthly production up to 26 sets,reduce 12 operators,save labor costs 600000 yuan / year.The Paper shows the D company lean production concept for side-door purification unit operation process optimization process,not only for the industrial process optimization of the production line has the guiding significance,also for the entire company production guidance of demonstration effect,but also for the traditional manufacturing industry production transformation in order to provide the beneficial reference.
