Research On Railway Logistics Service Supply Chain Coordination With Optiono Contracts

With the acceleration of economic globalization and trade integration, operating logistics with Supply chain management thinking have become a new stage of modern logistics development. Railway logistics which was an important part of modern logistics system also gradually explored the development model of integrated supply chain to meet the diversified and personalized market demand, to seek greater profit margins. However,it was difficult for railway logistics service supply chain which was in the early stage of development to establish an organic connection with logistics service provider on account of rigid management system and low level of integration and market sensitivity. It also made the profit space available for railway logistics service supply chain can't be effectively released. Therefore, the paper attempted to introduce the option contract to study the one-to-one coordination model of railway logistics service supply chain formed by enterprise logistics and railway transportation enterprises, and the multi-to-one coordination model of railway logistics service supply chain formed by logistics enterprise and railway transportation enterprise. The main tasks were as follows:(1) The paper defined the concept and characteristics of the railway logistics service supply chain, and discussed and discussed the function of the core enterprise in the railway logistics service supply chain. On the basis of this, the paper constructed the basic structure of railway logistics service supply chain, and put forward the necessity and mechanism of the railway logistics service supply chain coordination.(2) Based on the coordination mechanism of railway logistics service supply chain, a one-to-one railway logistics service supply chain coordination model composed of railway transportation enterprises and enterprise logistics was constructed. Taking the optimal state of the railway logistics service supply chain under the centralized and uncoordinated contract decentralized decision as the boundary reference, the model analyzed the design rules of option contract parameters to realize the coordination of the railway logistics service supply chain under the option contract coordination mechanism. And then, based on this, the paper discussed the influence of option contract parameters on the distribution of income between railway transportation enterprises and logistics service providers. Finally, the paper further validated the effectiveness of the option contract for the coordination of railway logistics service supply chain through numerical simulation.(3) Based on the one-to-one model of railway logistics service supply chain, the paper studied the multi-to-one supply chain contract model formed by logistics enterprises and railway transportation enterprise, and analyzed the optimal decision and expected return of the railway transport enterprise and the logistics service provider under the decentralized decision-making of centralized and uncoordinated contracts,respectively. Based on this, the paper discussed the condition of the contract parameters to achieve the coordination of the railway logistics service supply chain under the option contract mechanism. Then, the paper analyzed the purchase decision of railway transportation enterprises and the distribution of income among members of the railway logistics service supply chain under different conditions. Through the numerical simulation, it was found that the existence of the option contract can realize the coordination of the supply chain under different purchasing decision but not necessarily be accepted.
