| Analysis of the financial statements is based on the information disclosed .Through a variety of analytic methods, business managers and other stakeholders can get lots of financial information including entrepreneurial ability, solvency and the operating capacity of the company concerned .With the rapid development of economy, the market is growing promptly, and the business and activities in which the enterprises are engaged are becoming more and more complex. The meticulousness of the growing market demands better analysis methods of the financial statements than previous. Using only the figures in the report on corporate financial statements can no longer meet the needs of the business managers and other stakeholders. In circumstance like this, a more comprehensive approach is needed in order to get some more detailed information from the data revealed in the financial statements. Thus, the managers,administrators and other stakeholders can make proper investment decisions based on the condition of the enterprise and the external market circumstance.As the continuing advancement of the supply side reformation .Currently, people’s leisure consumption preference gradually shifts from basic living goods towards spiritual entertainment represented by cultural media and other recreational stuff. In this paper,we choose LESHI as a representative company of the cultural media industry. The thesis intends to analyze the business strategy of LESHI by using SWOT analysis and Porter’s five-force model which can help us get a better understanding of the industry as well as the internal factors influencing the development of this company. Following, a comparison of the financial statement between LESHI and other companies will be made. Next, DuPont analysis will be used to find out the factors influencing the ROE. Finally ,the analysis of Financial Strategy Matrix will be utilized to provide reasonable suggestions for managers- to improve their business performance. |
