Evaluation Research On Industrial Park Layout Of Dalian International Shipping Center

With the development of the world’s economy, the ocean gradually gains the attention from the world,which is taken as a new field for economic development because of its ample resources. It has been an effective way for all countries to promote economy by exploring oceanic resources and developing related industries. The world has entered the age of ocean economy. In order to promote ocean economy, priorities should be given to ocean industry as well as port industry, etc. Port industrial sector is a great promoter for port industry’s development, and serve as the basic guarantee for the effectiveness of ocean sectors, and of course an effective means to stimulate coastal areas’ ocean economy. Port industrial layout is an important step for ocean industrial sectors’ development, which would directly affect the quality and achievements of port industry and related industries. Dalian is not only a vital sea portal of China’s Northeast region, but also a vital costal industrial city, whose port industry has gained progress.Now 16 provincial port industrial park have been successfully built. A deep analysis of Dalian’s port industry layout and its affecting elements helps promote its port industry,upgrade the structure of port industry, as well as play its part in city’s economic development as an international shipping center.This paper is based on both domestic and foreign theoretical research on port industry layout, take 16 port industrial parks as research examples, build corresponding evaluation system,summarize the basic condition of Dalian’s port industry development,put the 16 industrial parks in order, and clarify key elements affecting port industry layout.In order to make a comprehensive analysis of Dalian’s 16 port industrial parks, this paper uses factor entropy method as the key method, and get an objective evaluation result through comparison. Finally, the core industrial park of Dalian economic and technological development zone is evaluated as the best one. According to the evaluation result, some comprehensive suggestions are given against the existing problems.
