At present in the world especially developed countries and regions, because of its advantages in terms of intermodal transportation efficiency, environmental protection, cost of container rail sea intermodal transportation has become a sustained impetus to local economic transformation and upgrading of the logistics, and with the development of economy outward spread, has gradually become one of the mainstream international port logistics industry mode of transport.This paper focuses on the theory and development of container sea rail intermodal transportation, and studies the related strategies of Zhuhai port to carry out the container sea rail transportation business.
