Study On The Development Strategy Of Pingyin Rose Industry

Pingyin County in Shandong Province,known as the "China rose township",has the history to plant roses, produce and sell rose products since ancient times. With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the rose industry in Pingyin has also faced an unprecedented development opportunity since the reform and opening up, especially in the 21st century. However, due to various factors, the rose industry in Pingyin can't make a development strategy within the framework of local conditions. For this reason, it affects the industrial development widely.Based on the analysis of related literature at home and abroad, this thesis makes an analysis and comprehensive research on the current situation,existing problems and the reasons of rose cultivation, product processing,product marketing, tourism industry, cultural industry and other aspects in Pingyin through field investigation and interview. With the systematic analysis,there are five suggestions for the industry development strategy for the rose industry in Pingyin. The first one is the implementation of standardized development strategy to build the rose planting industrial belt; the second one is the implementation of the collectivized development strategy to build rose processing industrial zone; the third one is the implementation of brand development strategy to create the first brand of Chinese rose in the market;the fourth one is the implementation of ecological development strategy to build Pingyin rose tourism; the fifth one is the implementation of integrated development strategy to promote the cultural rose industry.This thesis aims to provide some useful references for the development of rose industry in Pingyin so as to make faster and better development of the regional economy, which will be benefit to the local people.
